Vespasian Lodge No.8099 Contact us at: 8099@dorsetfreemasonry.info The members of Vespasian Lodge are a group of experienced Freemasons who enjoy each other’s company and the unique fellowship of Freemasonry. We meet in the beautiful surroundings of Branksome Masonic Hall. The location of Vespasian Lodge makes it easy to reach from both Poole and Bournemouth with lots of parking on site, bus stops right outside the building and just a five-minute walk to the mainline railway station at Branksome. The lodge is an ideal home for men wanting to join Freemasonry or for the more experienced Mason wanting to join another lodge. For the new Mason, Vespasian’s experienced members will be with you throughout your Masonic journey, guiding and assisting you to get the most out of the experience. For joining members there is an opportunity to progress through the offices to Worshipful Master without undue delay and plenty of chances for assisting during the ceremonies. For all members, you can complete your journey through “Pure, Ancient Freemasonry” inside the Vespasian family as we have our own Holy Royal Arch Chapter which meets four times each year; this is an ideal way to complete your knowledge of Freemasonry in the same friendly environment that Vespasian is famed for across Dorset. Vespasian Lodge meets nine times every year, on the Third Tuesday of the month (October to June); this pattern allows members to enjoy the beautiful southern summer weather away from Lodge duties and maintain a good Masonic/life balance! We usually have a meal together after each meeting, three courses very reasonably priced at £14. Vespasian is one of the small number of Dorset Lodges using Taylor’s working. Subscriptions are very affordable with yearly membership in 2018/2019 working out at less than £3.10 per week.
